Ceramics is a studio based, semester course that allows students to create works using traditional and contemporary approaches to clay. It is a studio-based course that covers a variety of hand-building techniques, surface treatments, properties of clay, tools and equipment, the history of pottery to the present day, and the making of functional and sculptural pieces. This class is for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students.
